At Emily’s Star, we know that the journey of caring for a premature baby or a child with life-limiting conditions doesn’t end at the hospital doors. That’s why we’re proud to offer ongoing, practical and emotional support for families throughout their entire journey. Our family support is available for our registered families who are based in Milton Keynes & have a child with a life limiting condition & is cared for by the children with complex needs nursing team.

Cost of Living Shop – Free Essentials, No Questions Asked
Our Cost of Living Shop is available free of charge for families we support. Stocked with everyday items, it’s here to help with:

✔ Baby essentials
✔ Food and snack items
We understand how financial pressure can add to the emotional weight of caring for a child with complex needs—this shop is here to ease that burden with dignity and compassion.

Special Wishes – A Gift of Joy
We offer families the chance to receive a wish, providing up to £250 towards something truly special.
This could be:
✔ A family day out
✔ Annual Memberships or passes
✔ House hold items that directly benefit the child (Eg; Washing machine, Blenders, bedding)
✔ Tablets or other devices to support communication
✔ Birthday celebrations to mark special milestones
✔ A sensory item or piece of equipment
✔ A memorable experience tailored to your child
