Last week we had a phone call from the nursing team about one of our families that have been in hospital for a while.
The nursing team asked if we could help with some vouchers as mum has been in hospital, while dad at home with their other son, both boys are registered with us.
As you know we provide vouchers for parents who are staying in hospital, however the financial burden of long hospital stays impacts both parents especially when both children require 24 hour care.
After speaking to our trustees we were able to send over £100 worth of vouchers to dad to help with food costs. £50 Asda & £50 just eat.
We also learnt that memory making is becoming more important , Sarah was already visiting that day so she spoke to mum about what we could do to help…
Today, I dropped off a new Polaroid camera after mum & Sarah discussed it last week. We purchased the camera, a case & 2 sets of films…
