8th June, Sarah supported Jen with a 121 session for Riley at his big brothers Football Tournament…
Here’s what Jen has said about yesterday;
“Taking Riley to his older brother’s football tournaments can be tough, so when the opportunity was offered for Sarah to come along and help us I jumped at the chance and it was the best thing I ever did!
Sarah struck up a bond with Riley instantly, she was there just for him, armed with books & toys she was ready to give him every ounce of her attention and he absolutely loved his time with her. Despite being in a noisy, windy, over stimulating environment in which he would usually shut down or experience little cluster seizures, the 1-2-1 support that Sarah gave to him meant that he only had her to focus on…she reassured him, played with him, sang to him, chatted to him, she never left his side and he had the absolute best day He rarely stopped smiling, giggling & interacting, it was so heart warming to see.
To be able to spend the day with both my boys at one of these events, like any other family, meant the world, thank you so much ” Jen
